(CAMPATIA)-CAMBRIAN PRESS ASSOCIATION
Campatia-Based Cambrian Airlines announced sunday that the airline would be filing for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection.  This announcement comes as a shock to many Cambrians nationwide, but was not overly unexpected.  The airline has been recently cutting routes and employees around the country.

The airline has also cancelled 3 orders for Boeing 787 jets, and sold its only 2 747-8i planes to competing Alpha Airlines.

The airline announced with the filing that it would be cutting all non hub to hub flights from Jerbalsston, and Centralia, leaving a major gap in the network.  These hub closures will result in only 2 nationwide hubs: Campatia, and Dexbia.  On the country's east and west coasts.

New regulations by the Cambrian government also limited the number of departures and arrivals from the Centralia and Jerbalsston airports to 25 or less each day.
